Show is first, then probably breeding for others, as I have Rare Breeds I'm helping to conserve, then pets, which I have far too many 'lifers' and lastly meat, as in we eat them and so do our dogs.

I'm gonna have to say other since only one option can be selected. We equally raise for meat for the dogs and to sell pets of small breeds. We slightly less raise show quality. Then we go to a couple shows a year. Some of the things we do less are more important though in keeping the rabbitry running. The meat rabbits are a black hole for food except that they cut down on dog food while selling pets and show quality which requires knowing people by going to shows in the area pays for their feed.

I breed for meat, both for my plate & the dogs, since I really like knowing exactly what's in my food & it doesn't make sense to feed my dogs something that doesn't look like food. I was going to say my breeders are safe from freezer camp but if they don't produce, they're definitely on that bus.
My dogs are only allowed one at a time in the rabbitry since they are too busy for the Rexs comfort. I had an escapee one afternoon that the dogs found for me. They really wanted him to play but they didn't injure him at all other than stressing him a little & he recovered very quickly.
