I am planning on getting a trio of new zealands for supplemental dog food eventually.
It seems like bass equipment is the lowest price with shipping that i can find.
here is a list of what i think i need?

48x30x18 x2
30x30x18 x1
floor spreaders since i think they will be hanging
for watering- bucket
3/16 tank connector
edstrow standoof
barbed tee x3
straight barbed connector
flex tubbing (not sure how many feet)
barbed w/valve(not sure if these are the correct ones)x3
valve clip x3
total is $360.65 with added skinning knife
please let me know if this sounds correct

Can you reach 30 inches into a cage for a rabbit who doesn't want you to catch it? I know I can't, so my cages are 24 inches wide. a cage that is 48 inches long has a lot of depth a rabbit can retreat to. Depends on how tall and how long your arms are. :)

you want a trio which means you'll need a minimum of four cages (you always want a spare cage).

A spare cage is good for
- growers
- isolation (of new rabbits if well away from your herd)
- isolation (of sick rabbits if it's not something contagious)
- emergencies of any sort (hey hun I was out and about and someone gave me this free rabbit) or shelving a litter in a safe spot close to mom but separate if she has a steep learning curve.
- 6 week old male bunnies terrorizing the entire litter as they are maturing just a tad bit too fast. (been there, done that, twice!)

What I used with my meat rabbits (9-12 lbs)

30x24x18

36x24x18
