It is day 10 for my doe chilli and I palpated her. I didn’t feel anything. Should I try to rebreed her?
The doe won't lift for the buck when she's pregnant and will drive him away, Domestics are descended from the European wild rabbit, Oryctolagus cuniculus and while they may hump to show dominance, they don't mate every day. Anyone with a colony will confirm this.To answer your original question, you could safely rebreed even if you were mistaken. In the wild, rabbits mate almost daily during pregnancy. It’s just an activity for them, something they just automatically do.
I’ll have to revisit this point to be sure I have correctly understood what I had studied. Thank you for sharing your understanding. The doe won't lift for the buck when she's pregnant and will drive him away, Domestics are descended from the European wild rabbit, Oryctolagus cuniculus and while they may hump to show dominance, they don't mate every day.
