Here is a favorite pic of some meat mutts.
Two of those oranges are agouti based (they have white ear lining), and one is actually a tort. A black based tort (out of a different pairing than the blues), probably wideband too, now that I think about it. It scarcely has any darker markings at all.
Can you see the one with black trim on the ears??? That's the tort, and it looks totally different than a good tort would.
