How would I tell for sure if he's molting or not? I haven't experienced rabbits during that time yet.Looks like a broken chin that is moulting, or a broken sable chin that is NOT moulting.
I always thought he was a broken frosted pearl until he got the orange. He has a ton of those in both his mum's and dad's side. Is that not possible? The reason I think he is moulting is that line of colour down his back. You can see the old faded colour (the brownish tinge) and the grey colour left underneath.
Yup, just orange, I keep him very clean and he is quite clean as well.Looks like maybe a broken chocolate chin but I can't tell if it has orange in the coat or if its urine staining the coat.
It's just grey on tipsblow in his fur. If his coloured fur has rings he's a chinchilla (even if they are poor rings). if the grey is just on the tips, a frosty.
I'm sure that's what it is. Thank you for the help!It seriously just looks like he's molting out. The tan color is simply dead fur.
Thanks for noting me, but I have no idea! I am barely learning rabbit colors myself. Pretty much I'm like: brown rabbit, black rabbit, rabbit with spots, etc LOLOL
