The barn is 24 ft long and will be 15 ft wide. I plan to have runs of stacking cages down both sides, and if necessary, in the middle. After I get the rabbit barn part finished, I will probably go ahead and add another 4 ft to the 24 ft side and enclose it to keep feed, carry cages, rakes, etc, in.

My husband is disabled and I am doing this alone and by hand. Pray for me.

Wow...go you! If I were closer, I would so help you with this project. I love building things.

Since I'm where I am, I will send up prayers for safe, quick construction.

(and prayers for your family :))

1. Get organized to keep better records and keep my rabbitry focused on improving the herd.
2. Fix up the 5-hole cage I bought.
3. Paint the hutches I had made this summer.
4. Plant a Fall/Winter rabbit garden.
5. Finally spread that mountain of wood chips.
6. Prune some bushes and use the prunings to start new bushes.
7. Plant some willow sticks in hopes of getting shrub willow forage

Ok so I was wrong. I just started on a another stacker unit. I still have so much wood lying around from the chicken coop I don't need anything but screws.

I need to clean up all of the plants, usually I let them die on the vine and clean up in the spring. Going to be proactive instead.
