wetness around eyes

my Californian buck has wetness around his eyes. Hair seems to be alittle thinner around his eyes too.There is no color too the wetness but its both eyes. What can this be from?

I, honestly, don't know HOW to treat it, I just know whagt it is and looks like. But I also know that it is fairly common, or not rare, so lots of people know what to do about it. I would type in "weepy eye treatment rabbits" and see what you get there.

I had this with Big Louis. Go to a store that sells basic medicine and by simple eye ointment (it has a special name but I can't think of it) put it on the eye 3-4 times a day until it heals. Every so often you will have to clean the eye so that you can tell if it is healing.

This can be caused by a number of things including allergies, tooth problems, ingrown eyelash, blocked tear duct, and ammonia build-up from urine. Is the problem new or is it a chronic condition?
