We have POPPLES!!!

I went out to check on my girls and give them an extra nestbox as suggested in the other thread...and Jumpp surprised me with EIGHT popples!! :bunnyhop: :bunnyhop: :bunnyhop: :bunnyhop: :bunnyhop: :bunnyhop: :bunnyhop: :bunnyhop:

She gave birth on the wire but had clearly been trying to keep them warm with her fur. All are alive. One had gotten it's hips throw the wire and I had a time getting it out...there did not appear to be any cuts or wounds on it but I'll know more in the morning when I can see better. I put all the crying babies into the nestbox, covered them with fur and hay. Jumpp was fretting and jumping in and out of the box.

She built the nest between the nestbox and the door of the cage...right at the cage door. Could she have done that because I accidently put the nestbox in her potty corner??? No rabbits don't move their babies. Congrats! Some of those first time moms are pretty clueless.
