UGH . . . frustrating, defect, toes grown together

I discovered that on the back left foot of my black doeling, three toes/nails are grown together. I didn't notice it when I was trimming nails, but I wasn't paying super close attention.
Is this genetic?

The top too photos are a little blurry but in the last one it looks like this may be the result of an injury that healed poorly.

That's what I'm hoping it is. At least then I can still keep her as a brood doe. Her mama is due next month, so if she has some I'll be lookin' them over real close to see if they have any toe defects.
