Two new litters

Two nice litters! I bred two black NZ does to the FlemishX buck that I got at the auction a couple of months ago - one litter of nine yesterday, and one litter of ten this morning.

Yesterday's litter had a nasty gooey mess at the bottom of the nestbox - three pale squishy dead kits with placentas still attached, plus several placentas. She hasn't left a mess like that previously. :? Anyway, they got fresh bedding as did this morning's litter, so they should be good.

Perhaps the doe had just finished kindling and hadn't got to the clean-up yet. I can just hear her saying: "But-but-but... I'm not finished yet!"
