So I culled a kit this morning.
It was doing well until three months old then starting losing weight.
Got fairly skinny and was lethargic.
Culled.
Opened up.
Everything looked fine.
Teeth good, bowels good, liver clean, couldn't see a thing wrong other than thin.
Can't figure out why.
Only abnormal thing about this kit is it was ALWAYS at the water bottle. ALWAYS. drink drink drink.
Give a bowl, drink drink drink.
Rarely saw it eating after three months. Unless I gave fresh damp grass and then I think it ate because it was wet.
Just couldn't figure it.
BUT what concerns me... as different kit, same dad, different mom.
almost two months of age... starting to go thin, and liking the water bottle.
WHAT GIVES????
thoughts? I'm wondering if genetic defect?
