Tri colors and torted tris

Only thing available near me is all torted tris. Is it possible to breed 2 torted tris and get one that is not? I think I already know the answer, but a girl can dream!

Tris are Agouti
torts are self. Agouti is dominant to self so you can NEVER get agouti by breeding 2 selfs to each other.
You could try to use the torts and breed to broken red [or even solid red].
This would get you the agouti gene and still have non extension so that the ej could still show.
