Transferring mom and babies to bigger cage?

I have some people I know that have been neglecting their animals so I've been caring for them as much as I can. My husband built a new house for them and we plan on more but want to move babies first into a bigger space and clean their old one for mom whenever they separate (I need to get pics to see if anyone can guess their ages) My question is how do I go about moving them all? Or can I even do that? They all need their cages cleaned and moved off the ground and modified and I want to get them each out into a little fence enclosure to get some time to run around and graze which they never do and also don't get fed hay. I'm currently looking for someone to buy some from. But I just need to figure out how to move them safely first. Thank you!

How far do they need to go? a box is a nice transport device. I assume the babies are out of the nest and mobile at least.
