I have 2 kits out of 31 that are not quite as big as their siblings they are not peanuts but just not as big. Do I keep em or ... no?

depends. what can you tell about their type right now? and does your herd tend towards the bottom of the weight range as it is?

They tend to be nice big kits, I pulled the litters out and checked em all out
these are not the size by any means of the others so....

i'd cull em then unless you see something unusually nice type-wise

I was thinking that, they are smaller and not looking like they eat as well. I guess I answered my own question. Not something I relish but is necessary.
They are meat mutts anyway so if I want nice sized fryers then I keep nice sized kits. I did also cull one NZ baby it was the same thing as the other two not as full or as large as the other 7

why not them just nurse a little while longer? who says they wont grow as big?

I got 2 that were about 1/3 smaller than the other kits by weight just needed some extra feeding to catch up

I grow NZ whites as well

If they do not utilize feed as well as others, they go to fc early - unless I do not have to pay for their feed by being able to put them on pasture.
