My babies are now 7 days old. We had gone out of town for the weekend and when we got back they are so different! The first thing I did was reached in to pet them and they were jumping and making cute little squeaky noises! A few have a corner of their eyes open and their fuzz is coming in. So much cuter than the past week. I picked one up and it was like an instant fountain of pee! It surprised me that it peed so much.

We have one little runt "Stumpy" who lost one leg and his other hind foot is swollen. He was the same size at birth but now he is about half the size of the others. Things are not looking good for Stumpy :( He has a very full belly so I know he is eating, just not growing.

With my first litter I nicknamed the kits squeaky popcorn

I had to take care of one kit today. It had a full belly, but wasn't growing. It was still NB sized at 11 days old while all the others were growing like weeds. Not an easy thing to do, but unfortunately it's part of it.

Aren't they amazing!
My daughter decided we should try and sex our first liter at about 7 days... the stimulation in that area made them pee... at us! It was like holding little water guns (and there may have been some pee shooting!).
