So, I will be in San Diego, CA this summer for a work conference....family reunion anyone? LOL Seriously, I am not sure how close you are to San Diego, but it would be fun to meet up!

I am actually adopted, and my birth father was quite the "ladies man"...you never know! LOL! I DO know that I have half siblings from coast to coast practically.

Before DNA testing, there was a saying that "It's a rare man that knows his own children" or something along those lines... so who knows? I look like my Mom.

San Diego is about 250 miles away- 4-5 hours drive I imagine. I would love to meet you in person! The kidlets have never been to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, etc. so maybe I could convince Hubs to take a little trip. Better yet, you are welcome to come here and visit so you could see all the critters first hand! Personally, I think option #2 would be more fun! We'd gladly put you up for a night or two or ten... and perhaps you would be interested in some of your dear sister's Rexes?

I wonder if you can have bunnies in the cabin in those "under the seat" carriers used for small dogs?

I could get a really big bra and put one in each cup! LOL

Congrats!!! They are beautiful! Love the color! I've never seen a rex in person, but they look absolutely soft, and I really want to pet one!

Ah, yes, you have plenty of extra room like me! Drat those TSA agents and their whole-body scanners. You may need to fly out of Bakersfield airport- they probably don't have the scanners yet.

I want to fly out of the airport that let that guy get on with two blocks of C4 in his bag!

Just talkin' about Carrot-4 here.

Recipe for "The Unmentionable C-Product":

Fast bunny for 12 hours.
Feed bunny only carrots and yams for next 12 hours.
Collect bright orange bunnieberries while still moist.
Form 4 bunniberries into a small cube.
Dust sparingly with powdered sugar. (You don't want to hide that lovely orange hue!)

Flight Application:
Feed sparingly to the wailing toddler in the seat in front of you, and the six year old behind who wont stop kicking your seat...

Ok, here's another one for you. When the bunnies arrived here, it dawned on me that I had forgotten to ask whether they had names already. The pedigrees were still en route in the mail, so I fired off an email to lonelyfarmgirl (where the bunnies came from). In the mean time, the boys and I talked about what names we thought would fit if it turned out that the does didn't have names yet. The white one is so snowy that we were trying to come up with something along those lines. We already have a Snowball (Brazilian buck), and Snowflake was just too close to that. So we decided on Crystal for the white one and Midnight for the black one. Later that day, I heard back from lonelyfarmgirl. The black one came from friends of hers and didn't have a name, so Midnight it is. She herself bred and named the white one, and lo and behold, her name is Crystal Clear!

How cool is that? :) Great minds think alike!

__________ Sat Jan 07, 2012 4:40 pm __________

I got my Peds and stuff yesterday, so yours should be there soon, Trinity. Anyway, it seems mine also have Black/Blue/Chocolate Otter in their backgrounds! Very interesting....

Yup! Came today!

I'm so clueless about the whole genetics thing. Every time someone tries to explain it, my eyes glaze over and my head goes "tilt!" I'll be happy if I get a "box of chocolates" color range out of the deal.
