So the chickens are gone, finally. I just had too many animals for this land to sustain. Now I am thinking of changing my Rabbitry name from Barred R (barred rocks). It's hard thinking of a name not already used.

I went through quite a few names until I became White Oak Rabbitry, which I liked because we're in White Oak township. Then, when I expanded into poultry and hogs, I decided that being a rabbitry wasn't suitable anymore, so now I'm Blu-Vu Farm. Blue is my favorite color, and wherever I end up there will be a big blue sky. Also, there are lots of farms in my area, most of them end in -Vu - Car-Min-Vu, Woodland-Vu, you get the picture.

Maybe pick something that you really like, or something regional?

It was about a month and a half ago or so. At first I was going to keep the rabbitry name under the farm name, but it got too complicated and messy.

Ohio is not my home state, nor do I plan on spending the rest of my life here, so I don't want to use anything that identifies with a specific place here.

I wish I could think of something that would fit the dogs and the bunnies, but the dog prefix does not seem to fit with the buns. My name is not really a good brand name either. Some people have really cool last names that make good kennel/ranch/farm names.
