Sudden paralysis in rabbit?

I have a REW mini rex buck named Shiro who Im concerned about, he is laying next to me as I type this. I give my rabbits fresh lettuce every other day and I went around giving lettuce and then I went around giving pellets. I noticed he was in the corner of his enclosure when I dumped the pellets in, he usually is on top of the lettuce the second it drops and they all react to me making noise while going around taking care of things, will wake up, try to see whats going on etc. He was propped up in kind of a sitting position with his head down but I noticed he was breathing so I was relieved but when I reached my hand in and nudged him he didnt react. I picked him up and he was completely limp, he is blinking, breathing what seems to be normally, but like, paralyzed? He just lifted his head up and moved one leg but seems to be struggling. Is this an illness that I should be concerned about spreading, a seizure? Anyone else have something like this happen? Note: I unfortunately cannot take him to the vet at this time

if you pinch between his toes does he react? If he does not react it's fairly serious.

Rabbits are unfortunately fragile creatures and can break their backs easily.

Confine him to a small cage where he can't move around for a few days. Give him some pain relief (willow bark often works well). Keep him clean and feed him. See how he comes along.

I currently have a Buck named Jeff who is 6 years old, he's from my very first litter. My second litter, he had a sister named Taffy who I had for about five years I think. It's only happened for them (And maybe their mother once) a few times a few years ago. They wouldn't be able to move but they could still breath, eat, and drink. Since they were small (Netherland Dwarfs), we put them in a travel cage propped up with towels into their normal position, with a small water bottle somewhat in front of their mouth, will some pellets on the towel in front of them. A few days after and they were back to normal

Hes seems fine now strangely enough.. I laid with him in my bed last night for hours petting him and if I got too close to his nose he would jerk his head back. He at one point got up and tried to hop off my bed so I brought him back to his cage and watched him for a few minutes, he seemed ok so I went to bed. I just woke up about 2 hours ago and he was grooming himself and hopping about his cage. He ate all the lettuce from last night so Im a bit confused now that he seems perfectly fine, he’s reacting to noise and being touched normally again.

Do you happen to know what was wrong with them?

guessing he pinched or strained a nerve, it moved or healed enough for him to be fine again.

My heart dropped when I read that post, i am so relieved it worked out for you. I've seen those symptoms a few times, it's always ended in death for mine... I wish I knew what it was and whether it is something that is environmental or hereditary.

Im relieved too, hes still doing good so Im unsure what it could have been if not one of the issues listed above. I’m sorry that happened to your buns too, its horrible losing a pet or animal in general
