Little MR doe made a nest, panting and I went out just a few minutes ago to see how she was.
Found a stuck kit, feet first and had to pull the kit out, shoulders and head were stuck.
Brought her an ice bottle and then she had more back feet sticking out. They were near purple again, so I took her out, laid her on a crate next to the ice bottle and pulled that kit out. It was also dead.
Brought her inside with the ice and turned the AC on.

I felt 3-4 in there a week ago.
Is there any chance any of these will be live?

Pink is her tongue.

Other than being a Mini Rex, I don't know. I'm assuming first litter, not sure how old she was when I got her a month ago.

Well, she's exploring the cage and no longer in heat distress. But she is drinking a ton of water. I put cold water in a bowl and then added ice.
The first kit, the placenta came out at the same time the kit did. With the second, I still haven't seen it. She's doing a lot of cleaning.
I can feel one rounded and then one on the right side closer to her back end, that one feels 'sharp'.
The kits had no membrane on them, normal for rabbits?

Is she small? Her ears are nice and eeny so I'm going to assume she's a true dwarf.

I was warned by some folk...true dwarf does? Usually lose their first litter. I've been told that the first litter "stretches" the doe out some, so it's easier to kindle successive litters.

My true-dwarf first timer had all stillborns and peanuts, except one live non-peanut runt. :p

I'm wagering she'll have more kits later...she may have taken exception to the (much needed) assistance, and halted her labor to wait until she has some more privacy.

Wrapped her cage and left just half the front so I can watch her. Gave her a shoebox with shredded paper, she's chewing and tossing it around.
She is 3 pounds exactly. The buck is a bit bigger, visually, never weighed him, he and the castor doe didn't wanna be caught that day and I didn't feel like getting scratched up.
Don't mind too much if she looses them, would suck, but just don't want to loose her.

I haven't had anything live after getting stuck kits, but I have only lost one doe because of it, and the others had good litters on there own later on.

She's dragged the shoebox into a dark corner, blocked herself in and is sleeping.
:/

Wow 3 lbs I took her to be bigger than that. Sadly I don't think you will get anything out alive. My experience has been everything is dead after a stuck kit. I have had live kits born first then a kit get stuck but never the other way around. I've had this problem with 4 or 5 first time mamas. One doe carried a kit for 4 days before it was delivered dead. I had no idea she had it still inside her. Fortunately 2nd time around almost all were 100% successful.

Yea, only thing smaller than her are the lionheads.
She's still sleeping, the sharp thing and the rounded thing in her gut is still there, same area.

__________ Tue Sep 03, 2013 7:24 pm __________

Oh gosh...Went out to get some food for her and another kit was half out. Dead.
Pulled it out, placenta came out and instantly 2 feet of the 4th kit sprung out!
Ughhh, this one came out real fast, but the heads she needed help with. It's obvious to me that this one for sure drowned in there. =(
She's bruised down there, heads were too much for her hoo-hoo.
I felt her and there's another one in there! Ugh....more than likely dead as well.
Would of had some rainbow kits.

Sorry about what your going through, Its tough, When My gma went on vaca to Italy when I was 10 (20 yrs ago) and I was taking care of the rabbits, One doe mistakingly was pregnant, And Being 10 Iwas curious, Noticed she was grinding her teeth, i figured she was in pain, checked up on her an hour later saw feet still hangin (I must of been smart back then lol) I did the only thing I thought I could do, which was pull it out by its feet, It was dead, I repeated that 8 times, all kits were dead...lol Lesson learned very young, My gma rebred her when she got back , after giving me praise, she was amazed I even knew what to do, And she kindled 12 :) all alive and she was the best mom, all lived!! SO the future looks VERY bright for you!!!

I have another MR doe that might be preggers and the LH doe...I see a lot of kit pulling in my future...
Maybe they need a hottub birth aka water birth, heh.

At least she is active and alert. I won't be able to go to bed until this last one [hopefully] is out, I don't think she would be able to pass the head again. She didn't even fight my help with the last two.

Is this the LH doe from me or another one? Sorry the MR kits have all been dead. I hate the wait. I was all pumped up for Mini Lop doe and then it was just one casualty after another. She has be rebred and is due at the end of this month.

There's something in there still, but she pooped and is acting normal, put her back outside.

__________ Wed Sep 04, 2013 11:42 am __________

Went back out to water and feed, she had the last kit half out.
