This is a weird one. Litter of 8 born 2/1. Nestbox stays in the house, kits are handled 2x per day and the nestbox temperature is monitored regularly. Last night, after evening feeding, I found one of the babies at the front of the nestbox and chilly. I warmed him up, plonked him back in the middle of the pile and he was still warm a half hour later. This morning it was cold and dead and pushed to the side of the pile of kits. What was really strange is this kit looked just like a stuck kit ... stretched out in the neck and shoulder area. I will try to get a photo later but it is too cold here for me to be outside for good photos :shock:
