I have a black doe that is just about to turn 6 months old. Her sire is a French Angora that carries chin and steel. The dam is a mixed breed meat mutt. (I needed a buck and the FA fit the bill.) Other litter mates are silver tipped steel and gold tipped steel. There are also black self in the litter. The doe in question is predominantly black with maybe a dozen white hairs on her ears, and equal dispersal throughout her body coat. Is she a lightly marked silver tipped steel or is something else causing the white hairs? Its a matter of curiosity on my part, nothing more.
