Today I got yet ANOTHER phone call from a 4-H mom on the opposite end of Texas, asking if I had any rabbits available. I moved 650 miles away, TWO years ago. I felt sorry for her. I know how hard it is to find enough rabbits for everyone, and if I still lived there and had rabbits, she would have been driving two hours to pick them up from me.
I asked her where she got my name. It was a county 4-H rabbit breeder list. I've NEVER advertised or placed my name on any lists, but I apparently have gotten put on several, anyway. I apologized, told her I didn't have any available, and asked her to get my name off the list so that no more people call me in vain, at least from that county.
