Just based on experience and not actual numbers, would you say statistics show that first time younger Does normally go longer with their pregnancies? Or are they still pretty avg at 31 days? I have 3 new first timers, and I know with humans statistics show that most first time moms will be overdue. So it got me wondering about rabbits.......

My rabbits have always given birth by day 31. They pretty much never go over.

My main mama has always went 28 days, from her first to the last time I bred her. I haven't seen a change in my other does, either. They all tend to keep the same timing on kindling (which has really helped keep the calendar) although I've bred the others for only a few cycles before dispatch.

Ok thanks-I have one that was with our Buck making her due date 10/2, but she still hasn't kindled. I can see babies moving around and feel them too (have been able to for about a week), so I am hoping that I just didn't record a date after that when I put her in as well and that they are on schedule but I am off. Shes just 6 months old and not full grown size yet, just getting her dewlap. Although there is nothing I can do, I am hoping the babies arent just sitting in there past her due date getting bigger and going to make it harder for her to give birth by staying comfy for the extra days. Time will tell! And her mom went just 31 days. I know I have at least 3 mommas to be, so I am hoping this next week will bring some cute live kits!
