Spring?

I don't mind heat or cold, rain or snow... but wind I can do without. It gets so fierce here at times that everything blows away- even our big heavy doormat has ended up down the hill, and we had a glass patio table fly about 40 feet and shatter. Now we have a stone patio table that has stayed put so far.

Thankfully the up and down temps haven't affected the bunrabs- I hope that continues to be the case.

I love a good breeze in summer... but we get wind off Lake Ontario sometimes that will take your breath away. It's a trade-off... at least our summer temperatures rarely go above 85... and we get a lot of summer days in the 75-78 range. I like our climate for the most part, although the humidity bothers me sometimes if there is no breeze.

It usually stays in the mid- to upper-90s here in the summer, rarely hitting 100*. Quite a bit of the country significantly north of us tends to get hotter than we do. Thank you, Gulf of Mexico! :)

Snow, sleet, small hail stones, rain. So much for spring. I just want the last frost so I can plant!

We seem to be in our yearly March-April "snowstorm" except instead of snow we just get 40-50F daytime and 30 at night with some rain. Slight improvement. It usually lasts about a week.
