Spotted Testicles?

This past weekend, a friend of mine who is new to rabbits picked up a champagne buck. I flipped him over to confirm the sex and noticed his has...speckled testicles?

Is this the sign of a health issue or just freckles?

I have no experience but it makes me think of fleas - or flea bites. is it smooth or crusty? I had a dog who suffered a large amount of skin damage and the skin in healed with black spots.
