sore hocks?

I noticed today that i can see something on my bunny"s foot when i was turning him over for practice. And think it might be sore hocks but it is only on one foot.

That looks like a callus that could turn into sore hocks if more fur rubs off of it gets inflamed

Should we be doing anything particular to ensure it doesn't get worse?

George has a wire bottom cage, with a solid area to hop onto and an EZ-mat on one part of the wire.

Just make sure he has a non-wire spot to rest (we have a mix of dollar store cutting boards, sheetrock and boxes or bins to climb/ lay on for our bigger guys and rexes.
That doesn't look sore yet, but it could indicate a lack of fur/ padding on the hock.

He has a solid area to hop onto, and Bug4H put a new thing in yesterday - a bin with some paper bedding - because he likes to dig in it.
