Sold A Rabbit, Kid Has Allergies to Hay, What to do?

Long stem fiber wears down the molars properly. A lot of rabbits on pellet only diets have overgrown molars if you really looked at them. This can become a health issue but it usually goes unnoticed because the rabbits adapt and I can't say a slight risk of overgrown molars from hay cubes instead is worth taking a rabbit out of a good home. While I do not prefer it 1000s are living symptom free on pellets only.

Apple, pear, elm, willow, poplar, sycamore and sugar or silver maple are all safe woods. There are others, of course, but those come to mind.

They could also give it rosebush and grapevine trimmings.

Is mulberry OK for rabbits?

Yes, mulberry is excellent. The leaves are high in protein too.

Thanks Maggie looks like they can work up to eating a lot of mullberry leaves. I have two mullberrys here and my x has 3. I have access to a lot of leaves.
