yes- it could, because as the body shuts down [and organs deteriorate] fluids can/will run out of both ends. And from the pictures and what you said --I - ASSUME ,the break down of organs was rapid. -sometimes you can see the red/pink tinge of the fluids at mouth/ nose, and at the vulva, -- but it is often not obvious at the rectom as it is mixed with poop so it just looks like diarrea. -but with organs like those pictured ,any water the rabbit would drink would go right through.- be careful with yourself and your own safety, - some of these "bugs" are very dangerous to humans as well. -esp. if it was a staff or strep.Sagebrush":1m7beqha said:Yes, they where surrounding the heart when I pulled it out. Like I said, I thought it might have been part of the liver because of the color, but I took the liver out before I went through the diaphragm to get the heart and lungs.
Michaels~ would staphs or streps cause diarrhea in her before she laid down with mouth gaping?

If you get the remains tested, you may find out what you are dealing with, -- or maybe not-- but-- you could also cause yourself a lot of trouble, as they might suspect avian flu,[or something else] and want to shut you down or cause other irrepairable damage to you.-- the choice is yours--

-- Wed May 14, 2014 6:46 am --

http://www.petmd.com/rabbit/conditions/ ... yxomatosis
