I tried searching for this subject on search, but lost patience. I inherited a 9 month old doe. Her owner 'discovered' that she was a girl, because she had a still born litter just before thanksgiving. She was sharing a hutch with her male litter mate. Of course, she was pregnant again. I think she kindled last night, the two biggest kits were dead, 5 survived and she is bleeding. Does this mean more are coming? Is she hemorrhaging? When I tried to lift her out to inspect the kits she bit me. I cleaned everything up and put her back in and she was whimpering.

She could have torn her uterus or vaginal lining trying to pass the two big kits and is Haemorraging OR it could be just a little discharge from the labour.

Either way there is not much you can do but hope she heals.

Good luck and please keep us posted on how she's doing.
