Silver Fox Blues

I've had silver fox's for a while now and have never introduced any from another breeder into my herd. I was looking on a genetics website and it said that 2 blues couldn't have black but my two blues had three black and three blue.

I have the ancestry back 6 generations or so. All were black until about 2 generations ago when I I mated some blues from a litter I had kept. So any clues for the blues?

A black buck got the blue doe? Or perhaps even a buck of another breed? Any chance the wrong buck could have got her through the wire?

Found the problem! I forgot to put the correct doe as mother. The mother is black, buck is blue.
