What is the difference between Otter & Martin coloration?

Genetics for satin coat question also.
I routinely have black (I believe) otter kits that are at least 1/2 Satin. Purebred Satin sire with a meat mutt dam. If I breed an otter kit to a full Satin will the resulting kits all have satin coats? Forgetting about color for a minute.

Otters are blacks with the tan gene

Martens are self chinchilla (silver marten) or sables (sable marten) with the tan gene

Crossing a satin carrier to a satin should produce 50% satin kits but the quality might not be show worthy if there are modifiers that enhance the satin, also I don't know if Satins have fly or roll back fur and that may get lost in the crossing
