Removing clips

I am going to change the doors from opening out and to the side to opening on the inside and up.

What is the best way to remove old clips?

They make a tool for removing them but I'm cheap lol so I use a small flat head screw driver find the largest gap in the clip and pry .

I use a pair of side cutter. I just place the jaws of the pliers along the slit of the clip and squeeze. The side cutters open the clip up as thy close and slid between the edges of the clip.

I am not sure if that explains it well enough, but I find this a lit easier than using a screwdriver.

I bought the clip opener, and haven't regretted it a bit. It's a nice sturdy tool and makes quick work of clips.
