Wow, after an earlier round of frustrating breedings two weeks ago, the re-breedings on two of the ones that didn't take were SO much easier! It's really refreshing. It's been a while since I've had a nice, normal and what I feel sure will be SUCCESSFUL mating.

Gotta love spring time. :)

The first one is always the hardest. They often need a few tries before the instincts kick in. Putting them as close to the buck as possible helps a lot to get them started. Smelling the bucks spray seems to help them get the idea. That (and territory) is what the spraying is all about. It's really nice when everything works right. Sometimes our plans don't jibe with the rabbits plans.
