Explain me this one please.

Two broken chocolate polish rabbits. BOTH pedigrees filled with black or chocolate with a bare smattering of blue. Bred together.

They produced one nicely broken chocolate and three red/orange charlies. How do I get red/orange from that mix???

Could they be chocolate torts?

They cannot be red since that is agouti based. The non extension gene often makes chocolates look very orange-ish

the thought on the ARBA page is that they might be harlequinized. They have red ears and speckles of red on their faces. it doesn't look chocolate, but I'll consider the chocolate tort idea.

Either way it's a bummer since they all are like triplets....nicest kits type wise in the litter so far. So it's like do I keep for type or toss for colour???
