Looks like partial dutch markings instead of brokens.

The edges are too irregular and ragged looking like white flames spreading into the red.

Once they're mature I would test breed to all 3 white genes - broken, dutch and Vienna - to see if they're comparable.

Same parents, another broken in this litter. Still need to get pictures. Face markings look much like the first one (bandit). It's not every time I breed Ginger to Thumper, but if we get brokens, it is always out of those two.

One of these times we will get one raised out. They seem to have a genetic weakness. Our satins did too at first, but now we are past that. Time will tell.

I think they passed earlier than that, but I honestly don't remember.

Picture taken today

He is the only surviving kit from his litter. Heat took down the rest of them :(

__________ Sun Jul 26, 2015 6:47 pm __________

Picture I just took of the kit today. He/she is as big of a sweetheart as it's Mom. Answers to Baby.Insists on pets anytime we are in the rabbitry!

Wow! I want one, that'd look amazing on NZ. It looks like they're lightly charred.

His markings now look much more like dutch. Not clean lines, more like it is blended on his body. And he is a he lol He is still an absolute sweetheart, answers to "baby", and comes when called. He likes to be held, and my autistic son often gets him out to carry around and cuddle with. I will have to get some new pics in the daylight tomorrow. He is almost 3 months old.

__________ Thu Sep 17, 2015 1:05 pm __________
