Clover has 7 x 12 day old kits.
And she is an eating machine!
This is her second litter.
The first was 10 kits, and she was ravenous the first few weeks then, too.
But by 3.5 weeks she was overweight, and so I bred her at 4 weeks out.
Now here we go again and I want to rest her this time as it will be peak summer and she has pulled herself nearly bald and well, 17 babies LOL
But if I let her free feed when the kits leave the nest, oi!
She is very round now and begging constantly for food/- I have been doling it out through the day, more than she got while pregnant, and tons of hay.
Suggestions?
