So excited that I got the 30 x 36 cages all assembled and the does & kits moved in! YAY!!
Next is the 30 x 30 cages for the bucks. I just thought I'd share some before & progress photos!
:mbounce:
(Please note, as I don't want to scare anyone else, this space IS NOT our kitchen!! LOL.
This is an area behind our garage. When the house was redone we took the old/yucky kitchen cabinets out and put them in this area for storage! Just wanted to clarify! )

aww... Thanks all! You all are so encouraging & kind!
I'm loving having some of the rabbits in this area. It's right out the door of our laundry room & behind our garage. It's an extra space that we really just stored stuff in. Seems well suited for this. So much easier to give the rabbits the attention we want. They are loving all the additional visits and petting! :)

I worked on the 30 x 30 today but ran out of j clips (I used like twice as many as suggested on the first set of cages so I don't have enough).

Thanks again!

Whew! Glad to here that. For a while, I assumed they were in your kitchen. Wasn't going to critique that but you had me worried for a bit.

Oh my... I hope noone else thought that! NO they ARE NOT in my kitchen!!!
We gutted and redid this house down to the studs. The forsaken/scary cabinets that are in the the "shop" (now known as rabbitry), were from the old kitchen. They are used to store garage stuff. I think it's perfect as it's NOT in the house, yet it is an area separate from the garage & vehicles.

I think I may need to edit the post stating "This is NOT my kitchen!" LOL.

I thought it was your kitchen too! :p

Okay, do you all know how embarrassed & amused I am that you all thought that was my kitchen!! Lol. I am wondering what indeed you all were thinking of me!! Too funny. I'm also thinking what a gracious group you are to think I had it in my kitchen and not be critical.

Thank you Rabbitdog for expressing your relief to know it was not my kitchen so I could realize it looked that way! I guess not everyone uses old kitchen cabinets & counters in their garage huh. So, just be to make sure everyone is certain that I do not have a rabbitry in my kitchen :D

THIS is the kitchen:

Now, we all know you only wanted an opportunity to show off your beautiful kitchen. It is beautiful, that's for sure!

Amazing how we jump to conclusions from one simple photo, huh?

Hey, why would I mind if you had rabbits in your kitchen? I just figured you liked having them in the middle of the action... though I thought molting might be an issue, and hoped you had considerate bucks that wouldn't decide to spray.

Your actual kitchen is gorgeous, though... love the glass tile!

Well, lots of cabinets, some done, some not, painting, etc... looked like a kitchen remodel to me! :p I just figured the appliances were not in there yet.

Zass... Love the little tiny font! ;) I hope I did not offend you or anyone else that does have rabbits in the kitchen! :D
You have to understand that it was huge for my husband to give his blessing for rabbits to go into this shop/garage type area. He likes animals in general but NOT inside any part of his dwelling! He is a very, very tidy person. This is a stretch for him & an act of love! So to realize people thought that was in the kitchen is extra amusing in our case.
He is a CPA and I'm an artist - LOL those personalities are so different but stretch each other keep each other in balance! Thanks for the compliments on the kitchen. I've been blessed more than I deserve.

I don't think you said anything that could offend anyone at all. :)

It IS a lovely kitchen. I don't think I'd put rabbits in that kitchen....probably. ;)

Haha...when we were thinking about bringing home the Newf pup, we kept reading on various websites that they were not a good choice for the house-proud.
I'm a tidy person, and it took me YEARS to properly train the husband.
It was a tough call.
Pristine home, or epic fluffy drool machine?

The kids voted for drool factory, and it's all been downhill from there.

(It's Mucky and her litter in the kitchen BTW, taking advantage of the tile floor. The rest of the house is hardwood, that I do not want any rabbits to damage.)
