Hi. My rabbit all of the sudden had a big abscess just show up. It was really putting a lot of pressure on his sinuses. He was fine this morning and afternoon. When my sister went out to feed this evening, she first thought he was dead; he was to the point where he was not responsive, so I had to drain it. He is responsive now, but he is trembling. I have put iodine on the lashing. Any advise as to prevent it from coming back? I've heard draining it is not enough sometimes. He is definitely not as miserable anymore, but is there anything I can do to help with the remaining pain?
