At rabbit shows rabbits (Unless they're a breed that runs up and down the table) the Judge puts the rabbits into a specific pose and it's called StackingWhats stacking
Stacking is a term I've always heard at dog shows, but I've never encountered it at a rabbit show. All I've ever heard in the rabbit world is posing (but my experience is only in California and Alaska - maybe other places have adopted the dog lingo).really? I thought it was just caused posing. Learn something new every day.
I've just always called it stacking and assumed that's what it was calledWhat I’ve picked up is posing a rabbit is “posing” while “stacking” CAN mean a method of circumventing the rules on the number of entries from one rabbitry per class “stacking the numbers in their favor”. Frowned on.
In showing dogs, posing is “stacking”. I forget and use the term in my head all the time.
Am I not supposed to share this?
