Rabbit died with white lungs

We lost a young rabbit a few days ago which was sad. Not sure why but we are concerned due to she was housed with her mother and 2 other kits. I did open her up to look at her liver, heart and lungs and her liver looked good. But her lungs looked bad they where all splachi white and her heart was too. She was in a cage with her mom and two other young kits her age about right at 4 months old. They all are eating and getting around find but concerned if they could have what she has.
I took two photos come inside look at my phone after I hauled her off and my photos were gone.
One thing I had noticed about her a few days before she died is she wasn't as active as the other's and she wasn't eating like the others.

white like calcification? I honestly have no idea, but I have seen stuff like that in other critters... in one case it was a genetic metabolic disease a bit like cystic fibrosis in people and in the other it was heart disease. In the first case we culled the line in the second as it was an animal we did not breed, it was the only one. I am no expert, but just to say you are right something is very wrong and I hope it doesn't affect your other rabbits! I would say likely to get a solid answer you need a vet, lab tests etc?

This just happened to me. My rabbit had been in a bad car accident about 2.5 weeks ago, and I thought it could've been damage from that, even though I dont know why it would cause the lung tissue to change. It was also on the inside wall of the ribcage. So strange. I'm pretty sure GI Stasis took her. But I think she stopped eating and drinking possibly because of it. I did an autopsy of it last night and found a lot of strange things. The heart and the spleen didn't look quite right to me either. Now I'm starting to get worried at what I might have on my hands and how many other rabbits might have been exposed. I have pics, but I'm not sure which ones are relevant, and I don't want to bombard and hijack your post.

A car accident--as in hit by a car? in a car that was hit by another car?

Scar tissue could look white possibly, or areas of necrosis (which just means dead tissue), if there were internal damage to organs caused by impact. That she would make it two weeks with severe internal damage is surprising however.
