With all of my confusion regarding Colors, patterns, etc, I just thought of a 'joke'.

Q: "Hey! What color is your rabbit?"
A: "Don't ask me, I don't know who it's parent are"

:p heh

I've been realizing that recently, with some of the discussions! You can have two rabbits that look almost identical in color, and yet they can be two different colors.

 Yeah, that's about how it goes. Someone showed me a broken "orange" once.
(and she really did look orange.)
"Wait a minute...the parents are a black tort and a black?" "You don't own any other bucks?"

Genetically orange is impossible. :?
"Oh...OK, I got it.
She must be a chocolate tort." :p

:hmm: Is pink genetically impossible?

Just wondering, because I recently rediscovered a picture Galadriel painted when she was little. You know, one of those light, greyscale pictures that a child can go over with watercolors? Well, the rabbits apparently are pink himi lops, and I'm thinking we could be rich if we developed those...

I think some of the lilacs look kind of pinkish...
And then, there is always food coloring
