so the 9 pound male rabbit turned out to be a female and i have a big problem, my rabbitry is maxed out and no meat male i have a fake dwarf lionhead and for a time he was with the new zealand female. my question is this, will kits from new zealand and lionhead be big enough to be meat rabbits?

most likely. I bred a 2 lb lionhead to a 8 lb meat doe and got 5 pound rabbits quite quickly.

I had one returned and she ended up being 7 lbs at maturity.

so they will give you meat rabbits just fine.
