Question about kits

Hey all... just wanted to ask a question about kit development. I've been in the hospital the last couple of days (came home last night) and my husband and father in law have been on rabbit duty. They've continued to bring the babies in during the day because of the heat, but my oldest kits are now wide-eyed and bushy tailed, and have been since the morning I was admitted. I just wanted to make sure we weren't doing any developmental damage by keeping them in the house and unable to get out of the nest box to explore. I'm not convinced they're entirely able to at this point. They're popping pretty high, but not in any controlled manner at this point.

My computer is still down from moving but I believe they're 2 weeks today.

I wouldn't worry about it. In the winter my kits don't leave the nest until 4 or 5 weeks, the little pansies

I agree with Dood that at two weeks it should not be a problem. If the weather continues that hot, you may need to set up a cage for them indoors in another week or two.
