:congratulations:

Glad they arrived safely. :) Just one little piece of advice to add for future reference. Even when you are sure a doe has missed, don't remove the nest box for at least another week. So many people have had does kindle on the wire after they took out the box.

Oooh, I was on the edge of my seat all the way through the "fur storm" (great descriptor!) :p

:congratulations: on the popples!!

The silly girl was pulling a little more fur tonight. Saw a tuft of fur in her mouth. If she keeps this up I am going to have a fur-less lionhead :(

LOL - yes, I have found that some will continue to pull fur for a day or two, and if a cold front is coming, a lot of additional fur on occassion :p

Aww! Look at their little nekkid hips! :p

It looks like mama is taking good care of them. :)

Is it the lighting, or is the kit on the far left in the top pic a cream color?

Appears we have double maned babies. :D Hopefully the manes stay nice and full as they grow. The color seems to be off a little in the picture, that baby and the bottom baby are both a nice full white. Not sure if they will get any of the tips darkened as they get bigger since it does run on both parents pedigrees. Still not sure on what color the other 2 are though.

Yep! :)

I'm hoping for some DMs this weekend myself!

I bred my brother/sister Gen I "Leonis Rex" (Lionhead x Standard Rex), and am hoping for a DM with Rex fur. A lot to ask, I know... but hope springs eternal! :p

Wishing lots of DM babies your way this weekend. We have 2 litters due on Monday that are by far more fluffy than the doe that had this litter so I am hopeful we will have more DM babies ourselves.
With breeding the Lionhead and the Standard Rex what size do they tend to lean more towards? I have never seen any pictures of that cross. Bet they are going to be little cuties!
