SC is Subcutaneously (ie under skin) IM is intermuscular (ie in the muscle).

Penicillin G procaine

SC pathway should be favored for owners giving the treatment at home.
IM administration only for professionals and veterinarians.
20.000 – 60.000 IU/kg
SC, IM
If bacterial infection: daily administration, or every 2nd day.
If treatment against treponematosis (rabbit syphilis): q once per week, during 3 to 5 weeks.

Perfect! Just the information I needed... and of course I just weighed them all - in pounds. Doh! Guess I will need to start converting weights, then doing the math. My brain needs a good workout anyway...

It's done in decimals rather than lbs/oz - I used DH's tournament fishing scales which worked perfectly... they pick up the slightest of weights and use a tub to contain rambunctious ones (which really aren't much different than a floppy fish  ).

I need one of those! Do you know the who makes it? Sounds even better than a luggage scale.

Dunno but I just did some searching... they look *expensive* :p

OK, thinking this through, hopefully a couple extra brains will help me make sure I get this right! 20-60 IU/KG - that's a pretty big range... not sure exactly how much to use, maybe the bottle will have more specific numbers?

Babies are .72 - .86 lbs so .33 - .39 kgs

Young Creme (doe): 3.24 lb - 1.47 kg

NZW1 (bred): 7.32 lb - 3.32 kg

NZW2 (mama): 8.30 lb - 3.76 kg

NZW3 (bred): 8.5 lb - 3.86 kg

Young Cali (buck): 6.5 lb - 2.95 kg

I would have to check the particular brand but it is similar to something like this http://www.staples.com/Brecknell-15...&kpid=561497&gclid=CNWagvCAv8UCFYg9gQod9aEAJg (not sure how to imbed the link... still figuring out this forum) - they just use a plastic tub on it and tare it out. Thankfully with him being tournament director for his club he keeps them at the house so I can use them whenever I need to ;)

I'm glad you got it figured out. I hope it fixes everything.

It might a good idea to add some probiotics to their diet for a while just to be on the safe side.
