Popples On The Way!! UPDATE

[Lopsided]

After a very long 31 days, I just spotted my doe pulling fur. I am so excited! My bet is 8, healthy popples. I will post pictures when they get here!

Congrats on the impending litter! I have 5 does due in the next few days an can't wait. The last few days are the hardest to wait for. Can't wait to see some pics of your little ones when they get here.

She had nine, total. When I went in to check, one was slightly pulled out of the nest. I tried to save it, but lost it. So I was right, 8 happy, healthy babies.

I think a few of them are going to be brown/fawn. There is also a charlie too! Honestly, I'm kind of surprised there aren't as many brokens. And I'm assuming that both parents carry a recessive black gene because both brokens were black. I have a feeling this doe is gonna be a good momma. She pulled a whole ton of fur and she seems to be feeding them. This is her first litter with me.

She also pulled more fur for her babies today. You can hardly see the hay in the nest anymore. Surprised she isn't bald yet.

One of the white kits got pulled out of the nest box and crawled out of the cage and on to the floor. He froze. So at the moment, only 7 kits. One white kit started to get brown spots. The black charlie ended up getting black spots as well, and he looks so pretty! The three brown ones have really gotten their color. They are all different shades of brown. I will post pictures of them in a few days!
