Sorry to hear about the loss. Hope the rest do well. Finger crossed for Quartz.
My husband is the same way. Just love him for that soft heart. And if any are lost here, there's a special place where our little critters go. The feral and house cats know about Jake and the air gun. Our Son's hamsters have never been disturbed.
