My pig rolled over for me today!!
The other day, he did it, too, but then he popped back up.
But this morning, I was scratching him and he plopped over and was nice and calm! He nearly rolled all the way over, it was so cute!
=D
How are pigs so oddly comfortable rolling around like that, but won't just stand still near me..?

__________ Wed Sep 05, 2012 2:14 pm __________

I know you guys don't care and just keep looking, I mean, what could "pig rolled over" possibly mean? Did it roll off a cliff or roll into my plate?

Maybe if I had a video of it, you guys would comment?

Was it your keeper boar?

I bet with a treat you could teach him to roll over on command. Pigs are so smart and food motivated that he should get the idea really fast. :)

We got a not so friendly little boar pig this summer too. And he is the same way. When we scratch him he will roll right over but stand by him while he is up and he is running. When my husband drives in the yard after work the pig starts squealing and everything for him. It is so very peculiar.

It didn't come through as a link. I copied and pasted to see if it would take me to the link on youtube and it said there were no results found.

I called them, they came running, he wanted to chew on my shoe. Then he sat and looked cute and last sniffed the cam.

Aww! I love how he kept staggering and almost falling over. :) Plus the happy grunts. It looks like the others want to get in on the action, but just aren't quite sure about you yet. I bet it wont be long before they will be begging for pets too!
