This is Bourbon. He is the Papa to all of the babies I have. He has 5 legs, is registered will be grand championed if ARBA will ever get it together and send me his registry.

This is Packard. He is not showable, both due to his color and his conformation, but I'm waiting for him to grow up to breed to some of these lightly marked does in hopes of tri-colors. He's my sweet baby.

This is Tequila - a broken orange doe with minimal markings I am going to breed to Packard, my harly buck in hopes of getting some tri's. Meanwhile, since Packard still isn't old enough, she was bred this evening to Bourbon, so more popple pics in a month.

This is Ruger - a bkn opal doe pourposefully bought for tri babies. She's also been bred to Bourbon for now. She is not showable - her ears are way too short. I bought her online and was led to believe they were not showable, but longer than they are. Depending on the babies I get, she may find herself a new home before summer.

Lastly is Shadow, a black torte buck I purchased at the last show I attended. Probably a foolish purchase, as I've not used him yet, but he will get his chance next. I received 1 leg at purchase, was told he had another 2, but it's been 6 weeks and they haven't shown up yet. Another, depending on the babies I get, who may not get to stay too long.

I took several pics of my only other rabbit, Brandy, who has 7 bunnies born 12/3, but none of them turned out. Another time.

are these english lops?

And they are raising their babies well?

That's cool. Every english lop I've known has had to their kits fostered as they simply wouldn't raise them.

Yep, all English lops and all 3 mamas raising them well.
There are pics of one litter of the babies on another picture thread this same forum.

Why would you breed a rabbit with five legs? Wouldn't you be afraid of passing the defect on? I would assume that is a genetic condition.

Scott, when she says 5 "legs" she means 5 show wins.....not actual legs. :) And don't feel bad.....I thought the same thing when I first started.
