I went out this morning at 6 am to find 5 babies on the wire. This is the second litter for this mom . Who did a good job on the first litter. I never thought i would see this on the second. I notice they were still alive and hurry up and put them against my skin. warm them up and made a nest for them and put back with mom.I will check later to night to see if she is feeding or not. Here they are Champagnes.

They sure are stocky looking for newborn kits. I think you may have some keepers in that litter!

I hope so. She was breed to a different line this time. This is his first litter. So far looks good.

thanks Maggie. I was glad to. she pulled fur before i went to bed. So i knew it was coming. but i didnt think it will be on the wire. She made or tried to make a small nest out of fur in the corner of the cage. So i just grab most of the fur that i can get. There was one baby in the fur.. The rest was beside the water dish away from the fur. So i think there were born about half hour before i got there. thank god for baby saver wire.
